We have started our 2 month trip to the USA and Canada! Tonight we are staying at the Treasury Casino Hotel in Brisbane to make sure we don't miss our morning flight due to traffic dramas on the motorway. The photo is of the sandstone facade of the Casino. The rooms have original cedar window and door architraves, but the size and layout of the building limits its functionality as a modern hotel.
Our friends drove us here from the Gold Coast and shouted us lunch. While Anita made donations to the casino's coffers I walked to the Queensland Art Gallery of Modern Art to see the Margaret Olley exhibition.
